What will your job look like?

• Lead and define technical requirements and design software solutions and problems of complex scope.
• Work with teams on developing innovative new data driven products as well as expanding existing machine learning products.
• Anticipate problems faced by developers and help overcome hurdles when required, review and provide feedback on code written by other developers.
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities and provide architecture documents that explain stages of work and impart knowledge to developers on achieving success in projects.
• Recognized as an expert on complex technical and business matters.
• Sound understanding of business and system requirements to develop cross domain architectural solutions.
• Support significant business case development, requirements analysis, project management, software development, testing and system lifecycle management processes and tools.
• Gather complex business requirements and break down work into manageable tasks. Provide architecture documents to support business goals.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years of experience as a Solution/Software Architect.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge and skills in more than one architectural discipline. Posses comprehensive hands-on programming experience in addition to previous experience in an architect role.
• Strong experience in java or Python, Kafka, Cloud, Databases and Elastic Search.
• Deep understanding and knowledge in different architecture paradigms working in java, python, cloud (GCP), databases, docker & Kubernetes, kafka, microservices.
• Excellent understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and best practices.
• Experience with database design and development.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Sound understanding of business and system requirements to develop cross domain architectural solutions.
• Technical expert in the Architectural discipline with experience in roles wearing multiple hats.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
