Responsibilities

You will take a critical and active role in the designing, planning, developing, and decision-making processes while cooperating with our strong and experienced team of experts.

 

• Develop end-to-end data pipelines in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) ecosystem
• Research 3rd-party tools and frameworks and incorporate them into the pipeline
• Own the development, optimization and maintenance of our production data warehouses
• Develop automated auditing and monitoring procedures to assure reliability and availability
• Serve as R&D’s technical focal point to the Customer Success team
• Code quality assurance:
• Ongoing code review with teammates
• Performance and testability assurance
• Continuous code optimization

Requirements

• Strong background in Linux and system engineering – at least 5 years
• 3+ years of experience with Python
• 1+ years of experience with Bash scripting
• 1+ years of experience with a public cloud platform
• Independent and highly motivated
• Fast, autodidact learner
• Team player, great interpersonal skills

CB4 is looking for a well-rounded, strategic, and innovative addition to our global Sales Engineering team! We are a Sequoia Capital and Octopus Ventures backed, predictive analytics startup, providing machine learning software for brick-and-mortar retailers. We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join our Manhattan based team.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

As part of the Sales team, you will work with Account Executives to deliver consultative, value-based presentations that address customer problems and educate the customer on the advantages of CB4; and closing deals!

Provide technical consulting to the sales team by participating in online demonstrations, conference calls, and onsite visits. You will conduct demo's and develop analyses (Proof of Concepts) to solve the prospect challenges.

Act as a resource for the Sales Team in helping them operationalize tailored demonstrations to articulate solutions to prospect and customer needs.

Work cross-teams internally to build new tools/processes to enhance CB4's value proposition during the sales cycle.

Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering teams to ensure that newly released features are understood and continue to strengthen our value proposition



Requirements

5+ years in a B2B SaaS company as Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or equivalent role working in tandem with Account Executive's to close new business (Enterprise Sales).

2+ Years experience working with Python

1+ Years of hands on experience using SQL and ETL

Comfortable explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience. 

Experience presenting to and consulting with C-level business executives
